NA 150 Election Result
NA 150 Election Result PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has asserted that the party is leading on over 150 National Assembly (NA) seats. In a video message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Barrister Gohar stated that PTI is poised to establish governments both at the Centre and in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) following today’s apparent landslide victory.
He extended gratitude to the people of Pakistan for their significant turnout in the elections. Barrister Gohar also expressed concern regarding the delay in election results, citing the Election Act, which stipulates that results should be declared by 2 am.
It is noteworthy that PTI candidates are running independently due to the party losing its iconic symbol – the bat – following purportedly ‘unconstitutional’ intra-party elections.
Earlier, the Election Commission of Pakistan unveiled the unofficial “winners” of two seats for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly. According to the commission, independent candidate Samiullah Khan secured victory in PK-76 with 18,888 votes, based on results from 37.62% of polling stations. Similarly, in PK-6, independent candidate Fazal Hakeem Khan garnered 25,330 votes. Both candidates are supported by PTI.
